I think that Clinton was okay as long as he followed moderate policies. However, there was a pull to the Left which I think required the GOP Congress to thwart. I give Clinton some credit for the economy, but most of the credit I give to the digital revolution. After that, I credit Reagan for setting the terms of the economic environment, and pulling the Democratic Party to the Right (at least for purposes of electing a president). Finally, I credit the Republican Congress with keeping Clinton on the path of moderation.......
