Win, it's not just P4 Xeons that exhibit the weird linpack ringing.

Inquest's stuff showed it too, on regular P4s, which they attribute to throttling, but in retrospect is almost certainly not.

But *some* P4 benches, like that older Anand one, show a smooth curve.

So, as someone on here (you?) suggested earlier, perhaps a stepping screwed something up?
