I have no personal argument with you, nor do I understand how you possibly thought that I was looking for a guru. If in fact I was, a question comes to mind - how do you feel that you would qualify?

Yes I feel that was rude. I did not see where he had provoked that type of response. I have read many of Bill's posts as I have read yours. I have never read where he claimed to be an expert. Yes he has expressed knowledge, but not in a way that should result in some of the attacts that you have given him. I do not pretend to be his "protector" but I really have a problem when someone maliciously attacks another for no reason. I recall that he originally upset you when he suggested that people should perhaps get out of Bre-x. This was followed by a vicious attack by yourself. Where did the reference of "B/B" come from. I recall that you came up with that reference with no intent to be complimentary. The reference to "honey wagon"? Do you consider that polite? I guess our standards are somewhat different.
I also think that I recall Bill suggesting a bit of a truce and the statement that he would not attack you. Perhaps I am wrong but I think he lived up to it.
I have stated many times that I was not a Bre-x holder but I followed it because of the expected fallout that it would have if it was a fraud. I noticed the petty comments made prior to the results being released but decided to ignore them. There is a point that anyone would lose patience. Last night was that point.
You state that Bill claimed to be an expert in many subjects - show me. That was obviously inferred by yourself. FACT - he was right on Bre-x you were wrong. You have admitted that and I offer you full credit. Where have you shown that he was dead wrong on his commentary? On any subject?
To the contrary you have claimed to be a prospector and an expert at the recovery of gold. You have encouraged many to visit your website. You perhaps did not use the word expert but your strongly worded posts were IMO much more suggestive of it than any of Bill's.

These were followed with about 20 or 30 "warm fuzzy" thank you for the compliment messages.
Perhaps you should re-read these and try to objectively evaluate them. I do not mean to "rub salt" but I find it offensive to see someone so obviously off the mark, criticize someone who was correct. Perhaps he has offended you in some way that was not apparent to others. If so, I still question the method of response, retaliation, whatever you wish to call it.
I do not have an agenda here, other than to encourage the free exchange of information, whether positive or negative, in a polite fashion. Perhaps my aspirations are beyond the abilities of anyone to control. Witness the expulsion from SI of those that even with prodding, could not control their personalities. I would have thought that you would have been slightly more humble in your comentary after your very strong erroneous conclusions on Bre-x.
I guess that we have to do what we have to do. I have just exercised my right to free speech, while in this case not positive, hopefully politely.
It really is not necessary to respond, unless of course you feel compelled. At this time I do not think there is anything more that I wish to say to you. I hope you do not change that because I feel that I have already wasted too much time.
