S&P 500 Changes : TMP Worldwide (TMPW) to replace CIT Group (CIT) in the S&P 500, date TBA. Tyco (TYC) is acquiring
CIT Group.

Celestica (CLS) 61.21 -1.80: Company announces that it has entered into an underwriting agreement with Banc of America Securities for
the issuance of 12 mln subordinate voting shares at a price of $58.78 per share; closing expected on or about May 29. Stock trades
down to 60 after hours.

Ford Motor (F) 25.98 -0.67: -- Update -- Ford shares halted off 0.36 from mkt close at 25.52.

Textron (TXT) 57.47 -0.04: Company announces it will reaffirm Q2 EPS of approximately $1.10 at the Merrill Lynch Global Industries
Conference tomorrow; see press release.

Computer Assoc (CA) 32.56 +1.54: -- Update -- Conference call just beginning; note that though $0.47 EPS beat First Call by a penny,
it was exactly in line with the company's April 16 upside preannouncement, and revenues were also consistent with that guidance at $1.44
bln.

Ford Motor (F) 25.98 -0.67: Company to recall all Bridgestone/Firestone Wilderness A/T Tires on Ford vehicles, will take a
charge of $2.1 billion (equivalent to $1.10 per share) in Q2 to cover the costs of replacing the tires. Company will suspend its share
repurchase program. Ford also will tempororarily suspend auto production of some models, including Ranger pick-ups and Explorer
SUVs. Ford sees Q2 loss of $0.35 per share, vs consensus mean of $0.81; sees FY01 EPS of $1.25-1.35 vs consensus mean of $2.60;
