I hope they mark the sector up a little before they hit it hard. I am sure that talking head will use the argument "it is so bad, it cannot get worse". The problem with that, of course, that a sales rate of under a $ billion per month, the sector (semi equip) cannot make money. As a matter of fact, they probably need close to a $ billion/month to break even (as a sector). I still need to unload CYMI and CCMP which I foolishly bought back into. I also will want to unload AMD as fast as I can. Having said all that about the semi-equip sector (and probably, the same applies to the chips short term), until the 2250 on the Naz gives in, one needs to stay with the "trend". I am right now at 40% cash which is on the light side, and in view of this BTB, I am a little perplexed if I should get back to the 30% level for just the last 80 or so naz points, which I think are left in this rally. I probably will only do "opportunistic" entries, if any until tomorrow's trend clears and I see if indeed the 2:11 turn tomorrow afternoon materializes (g).
