Ah man... you went and spoiled all the fun.

But I guess realization sets in that May 29th is
just a song and dance. Intel admits publically it isn't
until "next year" until IA64 gets going. Itanium is
a development platform:

But we knew that all along, even though Intel would never
pubically admit Merced was dead. It has been dead for a
very long time. It was dead when Windows wasn't there for
it. Beta Linux at FRS sure doesn't help matters either.

Gee, will Dell pre-load AIX? ;-)
