Cubix's RIS completes pipeline sale

Further to news in Stockwatch of May 4, 2001, Cubix Investments' wholly
owned subsidiary, RIS Resources (USA) Inc. (RIS USA), has completed the
sale of its 50-per-cent interest in the Bird Canyon pipeline to Mountain
Gas Resources Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Western Gas Resources Inc.
The purchase and sale and the related settlement agreement called for the
settlement of all claims and litigation among the parties and resulted in a
net payment to RIS USA of $5.85-million (U.S.).
Cubix's investments currently are as follows:

EMagin Corporation -- 585,000 shares
Chalk Networks (Holdings) Corp. -- 1,325,000 shares
Musicplex.com -- 2,225,000 shares
WiredMerchant.com Inc. -- one million shares
Energy
Gemini Energy Corp. -- 4.8 million shares
Nation Energy -- three million shares
Ultra Holdings Inc. -- 1,739,900 shares
Venture investments
Luxmatic Technologies N.V. -- 6,722,795 shares
Nucleus Bioscience Inc. -- one million shares
Brightwave Ventures Inc. -- 600,000 units
Issuer bid
Further to news in Stockwatch on April 20, 2000, the company has purchased
2,306,500 shares of its outstanding stock representing approximately 6 per
cent of the current public float. As of May 9, 2001, the issuer bid has
been completed.
