Kap, you don't think Nasdaq going from 5100 to 1700 was capitulation?

CNBC kept whining about a lack of "panic selling" for a few months, until they finally gave up. I don't know why they (or anyone) would expect panic selling after a market was already down over 60%... if you hadn't already panicked, there was little point in doing so at Nas 2000. I think people took more of a 'gallows humor' perspective at that point.

Anyhow, the markets always turn before the underlying corporations do... I bet bookings will be up for may / june / etc. After all, we have to crank out tons of those new Nvidia Crush chipsets. :)

p.s. That said, I sure wouldn't be long *Intel* right now-- in fact I hold June puts, a la Pravin. But AMD is such a value stock that I'm not worried holding it. It's just much safer to be the little guy gaining marketshare at the expense of the big guy during 'shrinking pie' times.
