Dear Mr. Palau: I dont understand why or how a person can be elected on one ticket and change parties to another ticket during that term. The elected official is SUPPOSED to represent his constituents and the people who put him in office, IMHO it shouldnt even be LEGAL to switch parties once elected. If a person wishes to switch, they should either have to resign or await the next election and THEN run on the other ticket. Thats the way I see it. Otherwise to me at least, their election is a SHAM. I predict if this fellow switches it will be THE LAST TIME HE EVER is in office. jdn
