You're right, Alan Iverson is a step up from Rodman, who was a tireless rebounder and understood basketball, but what a moron Rodman was/is! Rather than wasting his time here, I would think Id could make a career out of trying to understand why people gravitate to Rodman.
I hope the 76ers it make it to the Finals; nothing better than reliving another Lakers victory over the 76ers in a championship series.
I was in Med School when we all huddled around the tube to watch the final game of the championships (1981?), wherein Magic Johnson started at center for an injured Kareem, played nearly every position, and scored over 40 points (a lot for him, at that time). Of course, they won. And the Lakers were off and running, literally, for the next decade.
