Just suggesting that the cash angle no longer has the same importance it once did. True raising cash when stock price was much higher was a great move. This type of event should already be factored into the current price of the stock. Just don't see institutional investors being willing to take the risk of a biotech because it has a pile of money.

If the companies that raised funds still have big stash when it once again becomes difficult to raise capital, we will once again here about the advantages of cash. It may seem perverse but the best use of cash at present might be buying back the stock sold at higher prices.

Understand the feeling that cash is cash. Just pointing out that holding tons of cash in overnight, or very short term investments, does not provide the same comfort when rates are low.
