Hoffman at WitSoundView has been the leading critic of QCOM over the past six months, much more so than the old guard of analyst doubters. I wish I had saved his quote from earlier this year when he said in effect that he disbelieved IJ about QCOM performance, and that we would have to wait to see who was correct. I guess we now know.

Don't buy at 50, wait to buy at 70.
