The Hong Kong stock market today recorded HK$174.96 million of short selling orders on 20 stocks.

PCCW (0008) topped the short-selling list with HK$40.6 million of shares sold short, accounting for 23.2 percent of the market's total.

In second place was Swire Pacific (0019) which had HK$27.2 million shares sold short. Then came Hang Seng Bank (0011), China Mobile (H.K.) Ltd. (0941) and Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016).
