You raised the question of wealth concentration. I am saying that as long as it is in productive assets, and merely nominal, who cares?
France left me with a strange ambivalence. I thought I was prepared to go: I love French food, movies, books, paintings, I have a pretty good reading knowledge of the language, and though deficient in conversational French, I can get by for elementary purposes. I know a lot of French history. But once there, it was not what I expected. I enjoyed some of it, of course, but other things bothered me a lot. I want to go back, disillusioned, to do further research.
On toddlers: I suspect your influence is a good deal less extensive than that, but one never knows. Anyway, just noting that some things just are a matter of luck....... |
