Flap Do you work in a right to work state? If so I would never have a quarrel with collective bargaining, just part of the economic landscape. Closed shops present a problem but are a healthy sign we still live in a republic and have a choice. My dad had to fight GE for his benefits at the end of his career. He had a bad heart and this fight did nothing for his mental or physical health. As much as people admire this company they would be appalled at what they tried to do to him. No union so he had to hire his own lawyer. Pretty unfair fight but he prevailed at a cost.
