Something's missing. The market seems to be waiting for another shoe to drop. Alcatel are already walking the fine line with the Lucent discussions - I'm not sure how clean their balance sheet is (is this deal an indication?), but if Alcatel tranche #2 is a back-up plan, it's not making investors buy the stock. I suspect this comes down to a majority control issue, as Laurie indicated a while back; I wonder how long it will take to resolve?
