I agree that they like the strong dollar. However, what they do first is to bail out speculators, thus helping to create one-side positions posing huge systemic risk.
I don't think current MZM, M2, and M3 growth, along with support of the dollar via futures, or somehow else is a prudent monetary policy. They are supporting bad bets of the big money, screwing up the little guy. The ultimate way to screw up the little guy is to print. That's what they do, and it's a bit naive to think this will not lead to the destruction of the buck. Greenspan thinks he can manipulate the bubble deflation through the futures. He is wrong.
