This news puts to rest questions
investors may have had regarding
the bill's ability to navigate the
Senate. The markets have shown
little in the way of reaction to this
news. Separately, the euro had
its biggest drop ever against the
yen today and has fallen to a
six-month low against the dollar.
Continued reports of slowing
growth and rising inflation have
generated sell pressure on the
euro. Over the past three days
the euro has dropped 5.8%
against the yen and 2.7%
