I'm short, but not with the indices (save token index poots). Shorted some APC (NG E&P co) today, they've been run up on hot air, prices are higher now than in January and the underlying commodity is 40% of the price it was then (4.00 vs 10.00). I did cover 1/2 of the CIEN short I put on yesterday, other half stop is at breakeven (and now above a very pretty gap above the 3rd stick of a loverly evening star). Also bought in the money (d)HELL poots today. If Merril wants to pump 'em, I'll dump 'em..... We may get a token rally tomorrown; OTOH on Friday we get a massive downward GDP revision. Today was pretty convincing to me at least. Besides, I don't care EW!<G>
