Inquirer>> "The UD agent puts the processor under 100% load, so it's a good demonstration of the board's thermal monitoring" 100% load means nothing other than the program is not bottlenecking waiting for outside resources (I/O, database, etc.) It says zero about whether the UD agent code is actually stressing the processor. That is, it may well be bandwidth-intensive, as opposed to really cranking up the 'FireBall' portion of the chip. I suspect that an FPU/ALU intensive loop that runs out of the caches would be much more effective at activating our little TCC friend. Doug
