I agree. It's time that I should be banned from this most intelligent thread for having the audacity to go "off-topic." That indeed is a hangable offense ... right up there with having both a sitting president and vice president convicted of DWIs. No, i-Bill, I think the reason that your shorts are bunched up today is because of Sen. Jeffords' decision to say adios to the Republican Party. As a longtime (if not lifetime) New Englander of the conservative persuasion, it must be disconcerting for you to see your beloved confederation of six mini-states become a land dominated by Bostonian liberals. And now Vermont has no Republicans in Congress ... just Leahy and two "indies." Perhaps you need to move to Kentucky, where all our congressmen ... and women ... Democrat or Republican ... believe in guns, Pall-Malls, UK basketball and standing up to the Red Chinese.
