This thread is not for scalping.. We leave the scalping for others. We are into long term day trading (holding a position for at least 30 minutes and as much as the entire session i.e. the shorts on CCMP, QLGC, CMVT, HGSI etc) or SWING TRADING companies in STRONG SECTORS. For the upcoming earnings season we will focus on the companies that manage to avoid pre-earnings warnings but those that do warn ARE FAIR GAME TO SHORT. We short techs that get ahead of themselves but we are NOT shorters to the death. We don't believe anyone has the INSIDE SCOOP on any company and we are very willing to accept reversals and cover shorts or close longs. We expect some big juicy bubbles to burst with the pre earnings season in June-July stocks, waiting to get picked off. marketgems.com We particularly remember the March 2000 fall as well.. we were very active posting during that time and have saved all the posts relevant to the fall in January 2000 and September 2001.
