I assumed that GW's arrogance, 2 cylinder intellectual horsepower and dedication to vengeance would cost him some votes on important issues, but I never he thought he would be capable of actually chasing Senators completely out the Grand Old Petroleum party. He figured that he could screw Jeffords at every turn, and that would teach the good Senator a lesson about abaonding GW (to some extent) on the budget. I bet right now GW and his GOP folks are promising Jeffords of his choice of committee, to add his face to Mount Rushmore, and his choice of former or current Jeb mistresses. Let's see if it works.
