Thank you Jeffords! I think I've seen enough of Bush's big oil agenda... absolutely sickening that anyone could be so blatantly anti-environment, even when the economics are for it! He tells you he wants to fix the energy crisis, yet he chops off 1/2 the Dept of Energy's Alternative Energy program. He tells you he's pro-environment, yet he does away w/ his campaign pledge to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, invades the artic for oil, proposes to abandon key elements of the Endangered Species Act ( sfgate.com ), revoked a health standard limiting arsenic in drinking water, and did away w/ millions of acres of environmentally protected habitats. He says global warming needs to be studied rather than us taking action now, yet he slashes NASA's programs that monitor world climate changes( cnn.com ).
