Ouch. I am not a farm expert, that is for sure. I don't like government subsidies to keep American business afloat, even if it is a neat romantic lifestyle like farming in Vermont. You had said DMA thought farmers were "scum" and I did not see that in his post. You also indicated that they needed assistance to survive. If true then they may need to try another line of work. So my post was not about "how to farm". If it was then your post would be more relevant. If the thread switches over to crop rotation or erosion control I will stay out of it.
