Gore won Illinois by 12 points and CNN crowned him the winner in one minute. Bush won Georgia by 12 points and CNN waited 33 minutes.

It wasn't just CNN, it was all the networks.

I was watching Fox News on election night and remember thinking why they where taking so long to call Georgia for Bush. Now we know it was part of the media plan.
