How much do you care about JP's situation? Life is tough and everyone has their problems. Judging by your post before the one I am responding to it sounds like you have a pretty good life that suits you well. Many would want to be in your situation. If the American farming industry cannot provide food for Americans at reasonable cost i would be surprised. You make it sound like we could not eat unless the government props up farming. Hard for me to believe. Especially with all the stories we see about paying farmers to grow stuff that is not needed.
