Hi Jack,

A Raff channel is made by first creating a least square line oover the stock time period of interest and then placing equidistant parallel lines to it where one of them just touches the most extreme excursion of the stock. What you get effectively is a channel where statistically the stock spends most of the time in the middle and when it trades out to the edges, those are the potential reversal points for the stock.
