Ed. Note - The week that Ricj Wolf posted the following, the price of SNRS was 8 1/4, today it trades around $6 lower. This is a public service message intended to keep these kinds of posts and guys honest. It goes without saying that the extent to which his decisions to purchase SNRS at a "cheap" $8 and up and his understanding of the SNRS business model were off the mark were exceeded only by his characterizations in the message. They are quick to forget.
A question for rich: How long do you sit in the bleachers after the game is over?

Awfully quick to judgement there, Mark. Do you usually call ballgames after one inning, too? Your bookies must love you... an 'easy' mark, they must say, as you approach... The game's just started here. Stick around. Shorts will control the field for a while, so we take advantage and load up on cheap stock, before the INEFFICIENT market realizes the value. Before a year passes, some of your beloved VISX analysts will be covering SNRS, too... and it wouldn't surprise me to find that everywhere there is a VISX machine, there will be a SNRS machine. Unlike your layman's view, some practicing doctors view LTK as 'complementary' with Lasik... technologically, each has its strong suit.
Maybe you should listen to the doctor's comments on the conference call, where he explains what he sees in the data regarding so-called 'regression.' (BTW, he performs both lasik and LTK procedures for his patients.) After all, to follow your own advice, it is wise to be informed about your (long/short/non-)investment decisions.
Enjoy your weekend. |
