"is there anyway I can get it switched to my name

None that I know of. Of course, you could always call and ask. It's amazing to me what they'll approve, and also sometimes the things they refuse. However, in my experience if my hubby got an offer for a card a duplicate offer in my name would come along in the mail within a day or two, assuming I didn't already have an account. In our household I have the discretion as he doesn't even want to think about stuff like this. I would just go online and fill the application in with his info and add myself as an authorized user. That's not recommended unless you have an understanding with your wife. It's not worth a few dollars in interest to mess up your marital bliss, at least IMO.

The offer sounds good, but I worry about too many inquiries on my credit report, and usually won't take an offer unless it's more than six months.

If I took it I'd just initiate a balance transfer for the available credit line. and pay it off rather than complicate it by marrying it to my rebate cards. But I'd likely pass because of the short introductory period.

It's a sweet deal except for the short duration. Which bank if you don't mind?

Regards,

Barb
