Hi Steve: A modest reward would suit me well enough, ah patience
I have plenty of that as long as I'm not losing, but very little
if I am. I do not see great things in the future for SPCO..but
would not mind a suprise, and of course she could deliver one,
but I think the chance of that somewhat slim.
She enjoyed her glory back when Harvard Graphics was the leader
in producing what was considered at the time a quality presentation.
She was a leader...but that was the days that programs stood alone,
each one on it's own, or nearly so.
A handy thing now on the net is a .PDF file..adobe makes that but
they do not market it so well. You can get the reader for free,
do you know of the .PDF files ? Well adobe makes what ever it is
to create them, but does so on such an elaborate scale that even
not seeing it I know it must be a very large and complicated program.
So many of them want to do and be all things to all people, that
the ordanary user that would just want to build a page or two is
overwhelmed by the program and it's learning curve.
It's so often like having to go squirl hunting with an elephant
gun when you just want to do something simple you should only
need a simple program..some how that idea eludes the people that
write programs and they add feature upon feature untill you get
lost in the maze of wonderfull things trying to find the one or
two you need. Now if SPCO could make a simple program to produce
a simple generic pdf that a simple person like myself could create
a simple page or two..that would be nice. O-well just dreaming
out loud. We will see how things go with this SPCO maybe she will
live a second life, somehow.
