Zen, What Witless did talk about was witless. You criticize or suggest some reason to blast Cheney. Is this based on some report of some quote or what you have read in whitehouse.gov I found the diagram or map on page 114 showing the problem areas to be quite informative. I've found this to be a fairly comprehensive analysis and thus I suggest that one ask what credentials does witless have and I'm amazed that anyone would take what he says as other than babble. As to objects, Well after creating low level drivers an engineer will create wrappers so that computer scientists can do something useful with the objects. At least that's been my past experience. As you say everything is related to everything and engineers work out all the details of what are the important relationships and create objects for the less detail oriented so they can also be productive. So if you believe that witless made some point, then please explain to me. But I suggest you read some real info first.
