Can it last? I doubt it. All societies come and go sooner or later with or without God. Haven't you read Lord of the Flies? In a Godless universe Might is right. Might is right has nothing to do with God. That can apply in religious societies as well. There are just too many variables for you to draw a straight line between godless and tyranny. I realize it would be comforting to you if it were so. I'll take my chances anytime on a desert island with the local godless gang. We're all nice people and we'd work out a way to get along. We're all strong personalities and we'd probably get on each other's nerves sometimes, but no one would put anyone else on the dinner menu. I'm confident. Karen
