Are you kidding? Conservative Republicans? Where? Christie Todd Whitman? With the exception of John Ashcroft the new administration can hardly be called conservative. Likewise the Senate and House. Likewise the judicial nominations, several previously nominated by Clinton. This "bolting" is nothing more than a tantrum by a dishonorable man who was seeking more power coupled with a bad bungle by the new President (his first). You don't throw the high heater when the change up is called for. Finesse was needed, not the strong arm. Bush and all of us will pay the consequences. JLA
