It doesn't really matter if we have a 2nd half recovery, because by then, THEY will simply say the recovery will be the 1st half of 2002, so it still time to buy now that it's just 6 months away, yada yada... THEY know most investors are a) short term minded; and b) don't want to miss the bottom. In the meantime, it's just a matter of parading enough con artists across the set at CNBC to keep the faithful from converting to a new religion until a) the recovery starts; or b) they've finished distribution and are ready to buy back in much, much lower.
