Nope, that was John Prescott - a great guy. One of the nearest to socialism left in the cabinet; he's deputy PM, and heads the DTER. Worked his way up after leaving school at 16, worked as a ship's steward, then union oficial, then MP. His politics aren't my style, and personally I don't think he's really up to the job, but he's sincere and works hard for constituency and cause. He's pretty much opposite to the Maggon, politically.

BTW, the delicate little flower he punched was a farmhand and hunting fan, about 5" taller and 30 years younger, who'd just thrown an egg at him from barely arm's length, so it struck and broke over Prescott's neck & shoulder... full marks to Prescott, say I. And incidentally so do about 60% of the country! - his approval ratings have gone up.

Possibly you're sympathetic to disruptive protestors, were you out on the streets at Seattle <g>? Or did you think that we should up taxes to pay for bodyguards for politicians, or that politicians should be kept aloof from regular people, or maybe that someone who's assaulted shouldn't stand up for themself...?
