The manual for my 2000 4.7 says I can use the 80% ethanol with no problems. 5% less mileage. I think most fuel injected engines can burn the 80% ethanol. What I'm saying is that 10% ethanol gives an 80% clean burn because of the after burn. MTBE only works as the vehicle is warming up and causes cancer. 10% ethanol is widely used here, if it was nationwide it's an oil saving way to cut pollution. I have a tip. Those parking lot dings? Don't use the brush that comes with the touch up. Paint a toothpick and use that to cover the nick. Takes about 6 times to build up the paint but you don't get too much paint. Sunday watch the Indy 500. Those cars doing 220 per lap are running pure ethanol.
