Posts of mine here at SI have been edited, by the administration of this site. Posts in October had their
links removed. I have e-mail correspondence from SI Bob (Admin) confirming this.

Please post this confirmation. If it's an email from me, you have my permission to do so, though you don't need it.

The site has never given the admins any capability to edit posts, and the only time I'm aware of any of us taking the back route to do so was when someone started a thread trying to sell one of his kidneys and Jill edited a note into the header saying that the account was terminated and that we don't condone such discussion on the site. The site manager and one of the lawyers were at her shoulder as she typed it, as was I.

Edit: Nuts! Unc Frank pointed out my incorrect italics usage. That habit took me all of about 5 minutes to get into completely, as it's much easier to type. Gonna take a while to break that one.
