The left-wing media was giddy (probably more so than Daschle) about the 1-seat shift in the Senate, and proceeded to get flat-brained liberals nationwide all jacked up about it. So what's the first thing that happens? Olson gets confirmed. The Republicans are on the road to something very good when a sewer rat like Jeffords gets his dead weight out of their caucus. Hopefully several others from that Bolshevik nest will follow (McCain, Spector, Chaffey). The Senate will still have the same people-just more honestly labeled.
