Lundin Oil holds talks with Iran
Finanstidningen (Sweden), May 23

Lundin Oil, the Swedish oil company which has been heavily criticised for its working practices in Sudan, is holding talks with Iran. The company wishes to begin oil production in the country and its managing director, Ian Lundin, has confirmed that an agreement may be signed soon. Lundin Oil has been in talks with Iran for quite some time.

The company is still active in the south of Sudan and results from test drilling on the Thar Jaht oil shelf are expected soon. Lundin Oil expects the results to be very positive.
