There is nothing Bush could have done.

While I do believe this act of treachery will mete out some curative benefit to those who mistakenly feel harmed by a Bush presidency, I think investigations should be held and Jeffords should be impeached, along with any other senator who is involved with this high crime.

This does not pass the smell test. McCain, calling for reforms, takes the opportunity to slam Bush. If these so called mavericks had any heart and soul and love for America, they would be denouncing this act as the pinnacle of deceit and sheer bravado towards indulgence in greed it is.

The only way Bush could survive this heinous act of sedition is by doing what he did, standing tall on prinicple and telling Jeffords to either **** or get off the pot.
