I never knew Intel was targeting the Xeon at anything other than the lower tier of the server market. I agree RDRAM is priced higher than the freefalling DDR. Yep, there is demand for RDRAM which keeps the prices up. As for DDR, the worlds major DDR motherboard manufacturers have stopped production of DDR motherboards citing lack of demand and poor performance. There's your answer as to why DDR prices are plunging. At $0, DDR prices should achieve long term equilibrium with its demand.
