I've got a volume with all of Bierce's work. In addition to his Devil's Dictionary he wrote a lot of short stories based on his Civil War experiences. A few of them rival his Owl Creek Bridge tale. I'm a bit suspicious of one of my business customers. Today they had a few large boxes ready to be shipped, with labels that said "Girls in Heat, Volume 2". The old gal in the office next door commented "There's sure a lot of limos and expensive Beemers stopping at that outfit next door. If I had to guess I'd bet they're making pornography."
