XOXO SUCKS!XO Communications slumps on downgrade Morgan Stanley Dean Witter lowered its view on XO Communications (XOXO) to a "neutral" from a "strong buy" to reflect the lack of a near-term catalyst. "We believe that investor skepticism over the current business plan and its heightened execution risk put a near-term cap on the stock," the firm told clients. Morgan said that despite the fact the company's managemnet team has executed extremely well in the past, it believes the stock is unlikely to appreciate significantly in the near term. Shares erased a lofty 7.9 percent to $3.48.
