I waited for quite some time to make sure I had supporting numbers for this. The short interest through mid-May is out for Nasdaq issues, and once again GENI is reported at 1.561 million shares. There is zero chance that the split has not been taken into account at this late date. nasdaq.com Yes François, GENI has access to the DTC numbers. It kind of makes me wonder why they chose to quote Bloomberg rather than to say 'according to the report we've received from the DTC...'. It couldn't have been because what they said is technically the truth because Bloomberg said it, even though it is obvious now that Bloomberg made an error concerning the short interest?
