Steve Alesio of The Dun & Bradstreet Corp. To Become Seventh Member of GoTo Board of Directors

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 2001-- GoTo (Nasdaq:GOTO - news), the leading provider of Pay-For-Performance search to Web sites across the Internet, today announced the appointment of Steve Alesio to its board of directors.

Alesio, 47, becomes the seventh member of GoTo's board.

Alesio is a senior vice president of The Dun & Bradstreet Corp. (D&B), with responsibility for Corporate Strategy, E-Commerce and Global Marketing, and is a member of the company's Global Leadership Team.

Prior to joining D&B, Alesio spent 19 years at The American Express Co. in New York, holding a number of senior management and operating roles. He most recently served as president and general manager of the Business Services group and as a member of the company's Planning and Policy Committee. He also held general management positions in the Consumer Travel Business and the Small Business Services group.

Alesio is also a member of the board of directors of Administaff Inc., a publicly traded HR outsourcing business. Alesio earned a bachelor's degree from St. Francis College, Pa. in 1976, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton school in 1981.
