Poland has had unions for decades.
What has separated America from the rest of the planet is freedom. Freedom creates the environment around which creativity and innovation flourish. Freedom to become rich off of ones creative energy, without having the wealth taken by the government. Freedom to travel, freedom to worship the religion of ones choice, freedom to own land, homes, buildings and corporations.
The free spirit of America has created the environment around which all else is possible. Without freedom, (protected by laws and and a military/civilian enforcement system which uphold the laws) feudalism, communism, socialism, or fascism take root and decrease the motivation to innovate.
This is another reason why Democrats, who believe so deeply in socialistic answers to our problems, are so dangerous to our future prosperity. The government doesn't innovate, individual people working together do. The governement doesn't stimulate creativity, people working under a system of constant "Urgency to change" do. The government doesn't hold our answers to future prosperity, and health. People working in organizations creating value to meet the newest customer need do. |
