"societal consensus" Hardly, societal consensus is just the tyranny of the majority. Murdering babies for fun is objectively "wrong" no matter what society says. So is the kidnap and enslavement of one individual to another. If you looked out your window and saw and saw a man beating his wife to death and when you said something, he replied "it's OK we had a vote down at the hall last night and we decided I could do this, I'm sure your response would immediately be "carry on then" I am arguing for an objective moral standard that is based on the Just character of God. You are just fiddling while Rome burns, and your philosophy set the fire.
