Andreas, Well, it's called "Athlon 4 with Smart MP". I better not start a rant about that... ;) Could this new naming have anything to do with Intel calling their processors "XYZ with Netburst thechnology"? Since Intel did it, AMD is safe to add their qualifiers. But God forbid AMD doing something original, or even dare not to follow Intel naming schemes - like a household pet following the owners around the house. With that off my chest, I kind of like Smart MP. Any ideas if there will be something in Palomino chips preventing desktop chips to operate as "Smart MP" CPUs? Joe
