Dale, But AMD is more like a pet Chimpanzee. Chimpanzees can get very nasty when they finally decide to do things their own way. Still, AMD keeps coming back to mommy Intel for guidance. After CelerON and XeON, AMD felt compelled to call their chip AthlON, and now that Intel added "4", AMD did the same. Do you want to bet that the Hammer family will have a new name, and the name will end with either "ium" or "on"? Joe
